PacificSource Health Plans’ Central Oregon branch named FAN as their 2023 Charity of Choice. Each year, PacificSource employees at each regional office choose their Charity of Choice: a community organization to support in a meaningful way. To kick off the 2023 partnership, PacificSource presented FAN a donation for $15,000 to support FAN advocate services in Central Oregon. Along with funding, PacificSource employees roll up their sleeves to engage in creative volunteer opportunities that make a difference.

The members of Trinity Episcopal Church support FAN throughout the year with grant funding for scholarships for after-school programs through their Kids Inspired Do Succeed (K.I.D.S) grant. FAN received a $20,000 grant to support scholarships for extra-curricular activities for students. Access to after-school activities allows students to explore new interests and learn new skills, leading to an increase in self-esteem both in and out of the classroom. Trinity Episcopal Church is an incredible partner that has helped us break down barriers for students and their families.

Knife River granted FAN $3,000 to support children and their family members in need throughout Central Oregon. Funds will support FAN advocate services in five school districts, which will help students gain access to basic needs such as clothing, food, and much more. Knife River is a diligent partner in recognizing that breaking down barriers will help students thrive. We are grateful for this continued support.

FAN was awarded a $10,000 grant from the JTMF Foundation to help local kids thrive. The JTMF Foundation was founded by John and Tami Marick as the culmination of 25 years successfully growing Consumer Cellular. The foundation partners with organizations who are meaningfully impacting the lives of individuals today, while also supporting innovative groups working to solve long-term challenges. They focus their efforts in the Pacific NW with the intent their local efforts will have broader implications. Their four key areas of giving are children, older adults, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and veterans.
